In this issue we offer an off-the-shelf way to automate the remote use and management of secure cryptographic keys. We’ve signed a new partner for GFG:FINsim in the Philippines, and we also announce Triple DES support for GFG:PINselect, which enables remote customer services such as PIN selection without a branch visit. This month's Goldfinch Report focuses on the importance of testing before implementation of new EFT systems. GFG:Secure Mailer to automate
cryptographic key management

GFG is now shipping GFG:Secure Mailer, an off-the-shelf way to automate the remote use and management of secure cryptographic keys, removing the need for multiple personnel to contribute different parts of a key.

GFG:Secure Mailer is a Windows Application designed for use with a THALES Host Security Module (HSM). It’s designed to generate PIN Mailers, Interchange Key Mailers, Public and Private RSA keys and Public Key Verification codes. These can be either printed or securely emailed as encrypted data, further protected by the PGP Corporation. Read the full story

GFG has appointed leading IT systems integrator Leverage Systems Technologies (LST) Inc in the Philippines as a reseller for GFG:FINsim.

PIN selection with Triple DES support

GFG has upgraded GFG:PINselect – which enables remote customer services such as PIN selection without a branch visit – to meet the most stringent new standards of cryptographic processing.

The banking industry is part of a worldwide trend towards an increase in remote customer service. Busy customers resent having to find the time to visit a branch, and this – coupled with branchless banking services - led GFG Group to develop a unique system that allows customers to select or change their card PIN without having to visit a branch.
