Cadencie customer ASB wins MasterCard
Worldwide Global Quality Platinum Award

Cadencie customer ASB Bank has become one of only eleven financial institutions worldwide to win an inaugural MasterCard Worldwide Global Quality Platinum Award for excellence in operational achievements.
ASB Bank - a leading New Zealand trading bank - is a foundation GFG Group customer and a development partner in GFG's cornerstone card management product: Cadencie.
ASB Bank uses Cadencie to service its own customers, as well as those of its online banking subsidiary, Bank Direct. It also offers a bureau service to other institutions.
GFG played a special role in helping ASB Bank win a hugely prestigious award, says Peter Hall, Head of Business Ventures at ASB Bank.

MasterCard has relationships with approximately 25,000 financial institutions in more than 210 countries worldwide. ASB was one of eleven financial institutions to be recognised as a Worldwide Platinum Award winner. Five winners came from North America, two from Europe and four from Asia-Pacific.
MasterCard Worldwide established the Global Quality Awards program in 2006 to acknowledge financial institutions that have achieved exceptional operational performance against predefined standards.
The annual awards program acknowledges performance in key areas that affect cardholder experiences. These assess cardholder satisfaction at the point of sale as measured by systems availability, how efficiently transactions are authorised (acceptance rates and other procedures) and chargeback performance.
Award winners are determined in the first quarter of each year based on prior year data. Winners must have annual authorisation transaction counts of greater than one million and be compliant with the Global Quality Acquirer Chargeback Quality Program (ACQP), as well as with all MasterCard Rules.
